what a year!

While we usually enjoy being stuck between a rock and a hard place, we must admit that this pandemic makes planning for the future a little scary! Fortunately, as rock climbers, we are well versed in staying flexible and calmly handling challenges as they arise. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate this unknown terrain.

We've made refund policies and weather policies... here is our first ever pandemic policy:

  • Full refund if clinics are canceled as a result of state, county, or federal regulations. Full refund minus a 10% administration fee if you are sick or experiencing symptoms of COVID, or if you have reason to believe you have been exposed to COVID two weeks prior to the start date. In all cases we will offer you a later clinic date, but will provide a refund if the date does not fit your schedule.

  • If you have reason to believe you have been exposed to COVID, are experiencing symptoms, or are sick in any capacity two weeks prior to the start date, we urge you NOT to attend our events out of respect for the health, well-being, and general comfort of the rest of the group. Many participants and guides may be at higher risks to complications from COVID due to underlying health conditions, or they may be caretakers of others who are at-risk.

We are asking everyone to be honest with us and themselves about the quantity and nature of social interactions prior to our events. Thank you for your honesty, kindness, and compassion.

COVID 19 Protocol for Private Guiding, Group Clinics, and Courses

This has been a hard year for everyone. COVID has not only impacted us on a business level, but a personal one as well. Our number one priority as a guide service has and always will be the safety of our students and guides. We are taking the following measures as a way to both keep our doors open, but more importantly, as a way to not play a role in the transmission on this virus. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Smaller group sizes

  • Temperature checks

  • Required face masks when closer than 6ft

  • Copious amounts of hand sanitizer provided by us

  • Built in social distancing practices to maintain space while out climbing

  • Moved to providing camping as opposed to indoor lodging
